Highlights
We are proud to say that this experience was awarded with the Viator Experience Award 2023 for second time in a row! This tour goes through the Prado Museum highlights. There are more than one thousand paintings inside (no, we didn't make a mistake, that's the truth), so we can't explore it all, nevertheless, we provide the base for you to go on your own after the visit. That's why we like to describe this as a didactic tour. However, if you're an Art Pro, we've got good news: since we're going to be only 7 people, you can choose what to see and make requests, and that's why we like to describe this as a flexible tour. If you are coming in a bigger group, send a mail and we'll arrange the visit.

I had a private tour and it was excellent. Different guide than pictured but she knew what I should see and take away from a brief visit to the Prado. She was very knowledgeable. Loved my tour and definitely recommend taking the time.

Great experience! Our tour guide Maria was very knowledgeable and engaging, and as we only had four in our group it felt like a private tour. Highly recommend!

5Great tour!
What an incredible experience! Stephi was so knowledgeable and felt like we hit the jackpot with how thoughtful and extensive the tour was. My 11 year old son is still talking about the experience and we couldn’t recommend it more!

5A nice highlight overview
It was a great way to open up the Prado and see some of the works and history. Our guide was great but wished she could have taken us to a few more paintings (the time was to short with her) but we found them on our own later

About Madrid
Madrid is Spain's sunny, sociable capital, home to great art museums, royal palaces, leafy parks and tapas bars that stay busy past midnight.
Three great galleries line the Paseo del Prado: the Prado Museum with Velázquez and Goya, the Reina Sofía with Picasso's Guernica, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza with its sweeping private collection. Beside them, El Retiro Park offers a boating lake, shaded avenues and the glass Palacio de Cristal.
Top-ranked sights in Madrid: Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace of Madrid (Palacio Real de Madrid), Puerta del Sol.
