  • 5Madrid food and drink tour

Could not recommend this tour more! Be prepared: there is a lot of food so come hungry! The various stops highlighted the culinary beauty of Madrid and the drinks paired perfectly. Just the right amount of history and information on the area, and the walking in between was a nice break. Nothing was ever too far apart though. The tour guides were wonderful, knowledgeable, and had some options for those that didn’t want wine. Sign up for this one, you won’t be disappointed!

  • 4Luis was a fine host for...

Luis was a fine host for this activity. Really enjoyed the first two stops. Third stop, our food was served after a long wait. No food served at final stop which surprised us. So the experience was a mixed bag.

About Madrid

Madrid is Spain's sunny, sociable capital, home to great art museums, royal palaces, leafy parks and tapas bars that stay busy past midnight.

Three great galleries line the Paseo del Prado: the Prado Museum with Velázquez and Goya, the Reina Sofía with Picasso's Guernica, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza with its sweeping private collection. Beside them, El Retiro Park offers a boating lake, shaded avenues and the glass Palacio de Cristal.

Top-ranked sights in Madrid: Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace of Madrid (Palacio Real de Madrid), Puerta del Sol.
