Experience the best of Pemberton

Pemberton sits in a flat, fertile valley in the Coast Mountains, north of Whistler, in British Columbia, ringed by peaks and glaciers. Fields and pasture lie below Mount Currie, a jagged peak overlooking the village, and the community includes the Lil'wat Nation, who have lived in this valley for thousands of years.

Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, with its three turquoise lakes below a glacier, lies east of the valley along the road to Lillooet. The rivers of the valley are used for rafting and fishing, and Nairn Falls Provincial Park has waterfalls on the Green River. Whistler is a short drive south, and the long, cold Lillooet Lake lies to the south-east.

The valley is known for its seed potatoes and vegetable farms, and farm stands and local makers show off the harvest, while snow often covers the valley floor for weeks in winter.
