  • 5A Must do North Vancouver Experience

Capilano Suspension Bridge A Must‑Do North Vancouver ExperienceWe visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge and it truly lived up to its reputation as one of North Vancouver’s most iconic attractions. The bridge stretches an impressive 140 metres across a lush rainforest gorge and hangs 70 metres above the Capilano River high enough to give you a little wobble in your step, but absolutely worth it.The mix of height, history, and scenery makes the walk unforgettable. With over 135 years of story behind it, the bridge feels both adventurous and timeless. The gentle sway adds a fun thrill without ever feeling unsafe, and the views of the surrounding forest are stunning from start to finish.Overall, it’s a unique experience that blends nature, history, and just the right amount of adrenaline. Definitely worth adding to your Vancouver itinerary.

  • 5A must!

We had an amazing time at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park! The scenery was absolutely beautiful and the entire experience was well worth it. We crossed the suspension bridge, completed the Treetops Adventure with all seven bridges, and did the Cliffwalk. Everything was very well organized, and the park was clean and easy to navigate. The staff were phenomenal—everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The complimentary shuttle from downtown Vancouver also made getting there and back extremely convenient. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Vancouver and something we would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting!

About Vancouver

Vancouver sits between mountains and the Pacific, a green, outdoorsy city of seawall walks, forested parks, beaches and diverse neighbourhoods.

Stanley Park, a vast forested peninsula beside downtown, is circled by the seawall, a waterside path loved by walkers and cyclists, and dotted with totem poles at Brockton Point. Granville Island's public market, artisan studios and theatres sit beneath a bridge across False Creek, and Gastown, the oldest neighbourhood, has cobbled streets and its famous steam clock.
