5A great day with a fabulous guide.
This was a wonderful tour. Probably the best thing we did our entire trip. We were picked up right on time at our hotel in Madrid and driven to a meeting spot in Toledo where we met with Javi, our guide. The depth of his knowledge of this area and the subject matter was astounding. We learned more in the 3 hours of this tour than we ever thought was possible to know about Toledo, an incredibly beautiful area of Spain where Jews, Muslims and Christians all lived in harmony respecting each other's customs and traditions. Javi filled in a lot of blanks for us and made the day a special one. Even the restaurant we ate at was one of the ones the company suggested and was just great. It was a good thing that they told us to make a reservation as a lot of places were full. We finished the day with a little shopping and then were met by the same driver who took us back to our hotel in Madrid. All in all a wonderful experience.
5Excellent
Our guide Javi was excellent and our driver Angel who transported us from Madrid was also excellent. Highly recommend.
5Fsbulous Day Round Trip from Madrid to Toledo and Back - Great Guide and Driver!!
Superb from start to finish! Picked up by driver Wilson at our Madrid hotel; met by our guide Valle in Toledo. Valle is one of the very best guides we have ever had, anywhere! Attentive to what we most wanted to see, smart, clear in communication - just a pleasure to be guided by her. At the end of the day, Wilson picked us up at the meeting point and drove back to our Madrid hotel. He was equally pleasant and attentive to us.
