Highlights
This private Douro Valley experience is our best-seller. In one day, you'll visit two carefully selected wineries, taste outstanding Douro DOC wines and Ports, travel the legendary N222, stop at scenic viewpoints, and enjoy a traditional lunch. No shared buses. No rushing. Just a relaxed, authentic day in the Douro. Created by a sommelier and Porto-born wine enthusiast, this tour offers flexible pacing and insider winery access. Pick-up at your Porto hotel between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. The drive east takes 90 minutes through terraced vineyards, with stops at panoramic viewpoints. Your first stop is a winery near Régua — estate tour and commented tasting of Douro wines and Port (approx. 1.5 hours). Lunch at a traditional restaurant with regional food and local wine. In the afternoon, the N222 leads to a second tasting: a historic Port producer or boutique winery. Return to Porto around 6:30–7:00 PM.

About Porto
Porto tumbles down steep hills to the Douro River, a granite city of tiled churches, riverside cellars and port wine aged across the water.
The Ribeira district lines the riverbank with colourful houses, cafés and boats, part of a UNESCO-listed old centre beneath the iron arches of the Dom Luís I Bridge. Above it, the São Bento station hall is covered in blue-and-white azulejo tiles, the Clérigos Tower rises above the rooftops, and the Sé cathedral stands on its hill.
Top-ranked sights in Porto: Clérigos Church and Tower (Torre & Igreja dos Clérigos), Dom Luis Bridge (Ponte de Dom Luis I), Porto Cathedral (Sé Catedral do Porto).
