• 5Amazing full day tour - so much Port!

  We did a full day, small group tour to Duoro Valley with CoolTours Porto. Our guide, Pedro, was great and super knowledgeable about Portuguese history and culture. He’s made the 1hr long car ride entertaining. We had multiple stops, first was a coffee/breakfast (not included) in a town with a beautiful cathedral, then we stopped at 2 small, local wineries for tastings and then a group lunch at a local restaurant (included). We also had a short boat trip with more tastings (included). The trip is full day with lots of Port tastings - bring water and maybe a snack!

• 5A Perfect Afternoon in the Duoro Valley

  We had a wonderful day in the Duoro Valley. Nono, our guide became our long lost brother by the end of the day. 4 couples, all strangers at the beginning of our adventure left as if we had been friends for years. Nono made every effort to enhance our joint experience and, when the group threw him a curveball, he knocked it out of the park. This was an exceptional experience and I highly recommend the tour company who put together a marvelous day.

About Porto

Porto tumbles down steep hills to the Douro River, a granite city of tiled churches, riverside cellars and port wine aged across the water.
