4Excellent tour, but a long day.
We took the sunset and stargazing tour with Jesper on 5th October. Jesper is an excellent tour guide and we would award him 5 stars for his knowledge and delivery whilst on the tour. He was accompanied by an excellent driver and the coach was very clean and air conditioned. We very much enjoyed our afternoon and evening. The only downside was the length of time on the bus prior to the start of the tour. We were picked up at 2:30pm, but didn’t reach our first stop until 4:15pm, approximately 20 mins after the last pick up. However, on the return journey the drop off was done in reverse which meant the few of us that were the first pick ups were dropped off first, for us it meant we arrived back at our hotel at 11:45pm. The tables in the restaurant where we ate our evening meal were set out very nicely which was a pleasant surprise. All in all we very much enjoyed the tour but found it a tiring day.
5Fantastic tour
From start to finish this was a fantastic trip, Daphne was excellent, keeping us well informed and looked after us all. From getting picked up on time, greeting us, The bus, was first class, I have been coming to Tenerife for over 30years, I would say it is the best bus I have ever travelled in, the driver takes pride in it and himself, he was excellent. The meal was delicious, every course was perfect, clean plates all round. Star gazing was fantastic, seeing Saturn was the absolute highlight. This tour is worth every penny. Excellent.

Food was pretty poor. The tour itself was good though however. I liked the photo stops and seeing Jupiter was amazing through the telescope
5Best Teide national park...
Best Teide national park experience available, great guide, and the stargazing at the end was just magical
5Best Trip Ever!
Daphne is so smart, cool and funny. Our bus driver was very professional and the ride was nice and smooth, we had many view point stops to the north to witness some incredible sights! We stopped off at a very nice cafe and tried some of the local taste in coffee, went to see the sunset by Teide we are very high up the sky! We went to go and see a big rocky hand reach out from the ground and saw a huge crater. It was incredible! Never worry about toilet breaks they are often and you provided with fantastic food! You get given blankets and tea if you are too cold. We went star gazing and learned so much about the night sky and got to see Saturn and the moon through professional telescopes. We were given a very pretty star chart so we can identify the sky and time of the year. Thanks Daphne! We’re going to come back next time!
5Awesome Trip
Done this trip 3 times now and will certainly do it again. Highly recommended. Our guide, Jesper and driver Carmelo were brilliant. Jesper was extremely knowledgeable not just, the astronomy, but the history of the Canaries, with a great sense of humour particularly as English isn't his first language. Sunset over Teide and the night sky were awsome. Meal was pretty good to say it was catering on a mass scale.

About Tenerife
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, dominated by Mount Teide, Spain's highest peak, with black-sand beaches, banana groves and laurel forests.
Tenerife rises from the Atlantic to the 3,715-metre summit of Mount Teide, a volcano whose national park of lava fields, strange rock formations and vast craters is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A cable car climbs most of the way up. The air is so clear that the island hosts astronomical observatories, and stargazing is a pastime in its own right.
Top-ranked sights in Tenerife: Teide National Park (Parque Nacional del Teide), Mt. Teide (El Teide), Masca Valley.
