  1. After meeting at the meeting point and introducing ourselves, we’ll head towards the Cathedral area, where we can warm up and start feeling more comfortable in front of the camera. 2. After the Cathedral area, we’ll make our way into the Arab quarter through the tea shop street, where the surroundings suddenly change completely. We’ll walk uphill through narrow, steep cobbled streets and small squares with views of the Alhambra, stopping at some of the best-known viewpoints, such as San Nicolás, as well as lesser-known ones but even more loved bylocals like Carvajales.

    Passes by

  3. At the top of the hill in the old quarter, after passing through the wall that protected the city in the 11th century, we’ll reach Sacromonte, the highest part of the area, with some of the best views. Here, the architecture changes completely once again, and the streets are lined with ancient cave houses carved into the hillside. This is Granada’s historic Gypsy quarter, with the sound of flamenco always in the background.

    Passes by

  4. Finally, on our way back, we’ll head down to the Darro River at the foot of the Alhambra and return along one of the most picturesque streets in the city, Paseo de los Tristes, walking beside the river until we reach the meeting point.

About Granada

Granada is an Andalusian city below the Sierra Nevada, home to the Alhambra palace complex, the Moorish Albaicín quarter and a famous tapas habit.

The Alhambra, a hilltop fortress and palace complex built by the Nasrid rulers in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, is one of Spain's most visited monuments, with carved plasterwork, courtyards and pools, and the Generalife gardens beside it. Granada fell in 1492, the last Muslim kingdom in Spain, and the cathedral and Royal Chapel, with the tombs of Ferdinand and Isabella, mark that turning point.

Top-ranked sights in Granada: Generalife Gardens, Alhambra (Alhambra de Granada), Palace of Charles V (Palacio de Carlos V).
