5Fantastic experience on the water!
Ian was so friend and laid back - made our sailing experience on lake Windermere really nice. We lucked out with a break in the weather and even with the occasional gust of strong wind we felt safe and had a great time. Ian was also patient with us in teaching us different bits and we came away learning a lot more about sailing. I would really recommend!
5Great couple hrs sailing on Windermere
Great to have the opportunity to learn some basic sailing skills whilst having exclusive use - lovely couple of hours and free parking available at the hotel, we stopped after for a coffee - lovely views from the garden
5Really great fun
Absolutely brilliant experience - a lovely boat to sail up and down the lake with a delightful skipper to help as much or as little as you want
5Brilliant few hours !
Absolutely loved our 2 hours with Ian. Brilliant experience, highly recommended
5A fun family activity
A nice way to spend 2 hours. Weather conditions meant it was a mix of sailing and motoring but we enjoyed the trip and would recommend it to others.
5Windermere Sailing Experience
Great sailing experience with Ian. Went on the 2 hour trip but had plenty of time to navigate part of the lake and take in the views. Also had benefit of a fly past by a jet. Good value for money. Thanks Jonathan

About Windermere
Windermere is England's largest natural lake and the Lake District town beside it, with lake steamers, high fells and literary homes close by.
Windermere is the largest natural lake in England, about seventeen kilometres long, its shores wooded and dotted with islands. The town of Windermere stands a little inland, and Bowness-on-Windermere on the water is the hub of boat life, with steamers and launches sailing to Ambleside at the head of the lake. A museum on the shore shows the lake's historic steam launches.
