  • 5Not too long of a walk. Great way to taste foods of the city.

The food is great! Especially the seafood chowder. At the end you get ice cream! What could be better?

  • 5Excellent afternoon!

The tour company keeps the numbers small so your guide can speak and all can listen! It’s very personable. Our guide Amanda was amazing. Very knowledgeable about both the food and the history of Halifax. We had a great selection of local delicious food and those with issues were accommodated. My only concern was when I opened each reminder message from you it included lots of symbols (ie.#*

About Halifax

Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, is an Atlantic harbour city of seafaring history, a hilltop citadel and a long waterfront boardwalk.

Halifax was founded in 1749 as a British naval base, and the harbour is still its heart. Citadel Hill, topped by a star-shaped fort, looks over downtown and the water, and a boardwalk of piers, galleries and cafés follows the waterfront. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic covers shipwrecks, the Titanic, whose recovered victims were brought to Halifax, and the great explosion of 1917.

Top-ranked sights in Halifax: Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, Halifax Public Gardens , Fairview Lawn Cemetery.
