Highlights

As Ronda is located in a hilly area, this is one of the few easy rides, on mainly flat and downhill tracks and quiet roads, away from traffic. It is a great ride for families, kids and less regular cyclists. You will ride through rural farmland and past woodland, hillside vineyards and acres of olive groves. In Setenil you will see “cavehouse” dwellings built into the rock, which are now houses, shops and cafes. You can enjoy a refreshment stop in one of these cafes before we meet you with the minibus to drive back up the hill to Ronda.

About Malaga

Málaga is a sunny Andalusian port on the Costa del Sol, the birthplace of Picasso, with a Moorish fortress, city beaches and a thriving museum scene.

The Alcazaba, a Moorish fortress-palace, climbs the hill above the old town, with Gibralfaro Castle higher still and views over the port and bay. At its foot lie the Roman Theatre and the cathedral, nicknamed La Manquita, the one-armed lady, because its second tower was never finished.

Top-ranked sights in Malaga: Malaga Alcazaba, Malaga Cathedral (Cathedral de la Encarnación), Constitution Square (Plaza de la Constitucion).
