Our rock climbing half day trip is an exhilarating vertical adventure that will push your boundaries, redefining what you’re capable of. In the qualified hands of our well-trained Western & Vietnamese guides, you’ll learn you’re much stronger than you thought, climbing up to 22 meters above the ocean waters of Lan Ha Bay. You’ll be lowered safely back to earth at the end of your accomplishment, buzzing with the success of you and your group. No previous experience is required – we embrace new followers of the sport as much as the seasoned climbers who seek this unique limestone adventure. This is a half day trip but you can extend to a full day of adventure and you’ll incorporate a morning of kayak or Stand-up paddleboard exploration. Under the watchful eye of your knowledgeable guide, you’ll paddle by floating villages, through a labyrinth of karsts and visit a huge lagoon! But don’t worry, there’s plenty of time over lunch to rest up for the afternoon of rock climbing.

5The best experience
I went rock climbing with Luc and Goven and it was amazing! I was the only one to sign up, but the tour still went ahead. The two instructors were very skilled and I felt super safe. The beach, the rocks, the laughter. This was definitely a highlight of my trip and I can’t recommend enough to go with them!

I had a great time! Guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I felt safe the whole time with belaying and equipment used. I highly reccomend.
5Took a bus and ferry from Hanoi just to climb here for the day! Worth it
Such a great day, the guides Antopitu and Hung were amazing and such friendly, fun people. They pushed me to lead climb and encouraged me to do things I didnt know I was capable of. Great communication and Transportation was easy. Im so happy with this experience.

5Unique experience
We has such a wonderful tour/climbing with Anton and Alexis! They were so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful with us! The views of the beach were amazing and we were so so happy to be there with this team. It was my first time rock climbing and I felt really safe and comfortable with them. They speak so many languages, specially the language of kindness and that's so unique. Best day ever!

Cat Ba is a rugged limestone island at the edge of Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, with forest, beaches, caves, fishing villages and the rare Cat Ba langur.
Cat Ba is the largest island of the Cat Ba archipelago in northern Vietnam, at the southern edge of Ha Long Bay, a mass of limestone hills, forest and mangrove. Cat Ba town, a harbour of fishing boats and seafood restaurants, is the main settlement. Much of the island is Cat Ba National Park, home to the golden-headed langur, one of the rarest primates in the world, as well as macaques, squirrels and birds.
