Itinerary
Start your private DMZ half-day tour with convenient pickup from your hotel in Hue city.
Upon arrival, the tour begins with a visit to the historically significant Demilitarized Zone, starting at Hien Luong Bridge, which spans the Ben Hai River. This location served as a poignant symbol of Vietnam's division between North and South during the Second Indochina War (1955-1975). Today, the bridge and river stand as lasting reminders of the nation’s unwavering desire for peace, independence, and reunification. A visit here offers a deep dive into the enduring history and resilience of the Vietnamese people, making it a highlight of your journey.
Transfer to visit Vinh Moc Tunnels. The Vinh Moc tunnels complex was constructed in several stages, beginning in 1966 and coming into use until 1971. You will be very surprised to see the wells, kitchens, rooms for each family and even clinics in the tunnels. Vinh Moc tunnels network reflects the underground life of villagers during American war. And it also shows us the endurance, wisdom and bravery of the local people in their fight for independence.
After visiting the tunnels, our jeep takes you back to Hue city and drop you off at your hotel. Finish Hue DMZ tour by Jeep car around 2pm.
