• 5Ha Giang loop with Amazing Dragon Team

  Dragon Team, particularly our leaders Jacky and Thang, made this an unforgettable experience! The whole process, from being picked up to getting to the start of the loop, was seamless and well organised. There were plenty of stops along the way to stretch our legs, grab a delicious salt cream coffee and take in the incredible views. Jacky and Thang were also super accommodating and happy to adjust the timing at different stops depending on what the group wanted. The homestays were really lively (be prepared to drink plenty of “happy water”), so bring earplugs if you’re hoping for an early night! All the meals were absolutely delicious and generous, and one of my favourites was having our little “pre-dinner” of fresh rice paper at a local village restaurant. Overall, such an amazing experience with a great team. Would definitely recommend Dragon Team to anyone looking to do the Ha Giang Loop!

• 5Best way to do Ha Giang!

  My driver and guide, Thang, always made me feel safe and was an all around great dude to ride with. We had a smaller group which made things more enjoyable than with some riding with some of the larger groups we saw. Amazing views. Scenery along the loop was absolutely sublime. There were a couple cool cultural experiences too Admin/booking was really easy. Highly recommend using this company to do the Ha Giang loop!

• 58 Day Tour Great experience with Dragon Team

  We had an absolutely incredible eight-day loop with Dragon Team and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the whole experience was amazing. The scenery was breathtaking, but one of our favourite parts was that the tour didn’t just focus on the busy, more well-known sections of the Ha Giang Loop. The first few days took us through much quieter, unspoilt areas of northern Vietnam, which gave us a chance to experience the incredible scenery, local villages and way of life without the crowds. Our tour guide, Jacky, was fantastic. He was extremely safe and professional on the road, but also incredibly funny and friendly, which made the eight days even more enjoyable. He created a great atmosphere throughout the trip and always made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Our driver, Loi, was also brilliant. We always felt completely safe with him on the bikes, even on some of the more challenging roads, and he was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable throughout the journey. We visited some incredible places, including waterfalls, caves, mountain viewpoints and remote villages, and every day brought something completely different. The organisation was excellent, the accommodation and food were much better than we expected, and everything ran smoothly throughout the eight days. What really stood out was how friendly everyone involved with Dragon Team Tour was. We felt looked after without ever feeling like we were simply being taken from one tourist stop to another. The balance between seeing the famous sights and getting away from the busy areas made the experience feel much more authentic. The Ha Giang Loop was one of the absolute highlights of our travels in Vietnam and one of the best experiences of our entire year travelling. A huge thank you to Jacky, Loi and everyone at Dragon Team for making it so memorable.

• 53 day 2 night review of Hai Giang loop

  After finishing the loop I would suggest Dragon team to anyone looking for an authentic laid back experience. We felt so safe the entire time. Our leader Vang spoke excellent English and explained everything to us very clearly, giving us historical and relevant information for stops along the loop. Our other driver was Son was always making us smile:) The food was delicious and the homestays were always comfortable and welcoming. The tour felt genuine and less touristy. We had a couple of main stops where many other tourists stopped however majority of the time we were on quiet roads that felt much more like the authentic Hai Giang experience.

• 5Dragón Team Ha Giang Loop

  The company was recommended by a friend in Hanoi, we did the Hi Giang Loop tour with a small group, just four of us and it was amazing. The views were amazing but the best part of the tour was that it felt so personal and we got to learn so much about the culture and traditions of Northern Vietnam! At one point we got to learn about how the Hmong women spin and prepare hemp for cloth and we got to paint our own piece of cloth with bees wax, which was exclusive for our group. My driver Son was amazing and I felt so safe with him the entire time! Everything was extremely well organized, from food to the home stays and even the routes we took on the tour, I would 100% recommend doing it with Dragon Team if you’re considering doing the loop.

• 5Greaaaaat

  I went to do the ha-giang cao-bang loop. First part of the trip i was in a group with three people about my age (mid 20s) but for the second part i was alone with my guide/driver because i chose a bigger and longer tour. I cannot expressed how much i liked the tour. My first driver (Jelly) took great care of me. My guide/driver for the second part of the trip (Jacky) was so nice and made me feel like family. We met other people at the homestays (which were truly increadible) and i was able to create great connections. I felt really safe during the whole driving and cannot express how much i’m thankful for the experience they offered !

Ha Giang is a province on Vietnam's border with China, about 300 kilometres north of Hanoi, a landscape of limestone peaks, deep valleys, rice terraces and winding mountain roads. Ha Giang city, on the Lo River, is the base. The Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark, covers the northern districts, a rocky highland where farmers grow maize in pockets of soil among the stone.
