  • 1Not as advertised. Poor experience

I should’ve known better than to book with Viatar. My experiences with them in the past have been bad. The guide predominantly spoke German as her first language, so did not communicate a lot of things clearly. Also was not able to develop a spooky tone using German accent . We were dragged all the way to the tower of London through the Underground just to hear a five minute story and to have her tell us all about how to review her and how to get more tours. It was a waste of time to go that far. Stating facts that you can find in a tour book or at the actual locations is not my idea of a ghost tour. You would think in London, there would be a plethora of history from which to pull good stories. And if you don’t know the historical answer, who cares make a good story out of it. I wish I had taken a Jack the Ripper tour with someone else.

  • 4Detailed History Tour

This is really more of a history tour. Our guide shared incredibly detailed stories of events in each place and we learned a lot. Some of the stops were a little too long, but I appreciate how much was shared.

Lots of fun unique stories about London hauntings. Our guide Arne was fantastic as he brought the stories to life.

  • 2Disappointing and Not as Advertised

Rather disappointing. Interesting as a walking tour around some iconic London landmarks and parks, but not enough about ghosts and where was the 20 min tube journey mentioned in the description?! Tour guide was entertaining and informative but most of the stories were about murders rather than ghosts. The tour also only lasted approx 1 hour and 10 minutes (due to the 20 minute tube journey) and not 2 hours 30 mins as stated.

  • 5Walking ghost tour

Aside from the downpour it was a great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and spoke loud enough for all to hear.

London mixes royal ceremony, world-class museums and riverside landmarks with distinct neighbourhoods, markets and parks to explore on foot.

The Thames threads the city together. On its banks stand the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, the Tower of London with the Crown Jewels, Tower Bridge and the long South Bank walk past the London Eye, Shakespeare's Globe and Tate Modern. St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey anchor the older skyline, while glass towers crowd the financial district.
