1absolute rubbish company
i was travelling on a big bus tour bus yesterday going down picadilly where from the back of the bus i heard some one shouting at the bus driver. it was a coloured women shouting at the bus driver " can you get a move on i need to be some where fast and you are going to slow" it seemed at first like she knew him. all i can think is that she works for big bus. the driver did respond and said if you need to talk to me or have any further instructions please come to the front and all she kept saying to the driver repeatedley was look at me when im talking to you. he replied that if she carried on he was going to remove himself from the bus. a short man came to speak to him and then it seemed to go quiet. it was not a pleasant experience for us as passengers. god knows how the other passengers felt or the driver. i know i will not be using big bus ever again in the future and i urge anyone whos booked with big bus to amend their journey.
1Complete waste of money for evening ticket
Complete waste of money if you can’t get an upper deck spot for the evening tour. Can’t see anything street level or hear anything with the engine despite live guide on upper deck. Customer service didn’t care and said that upper deck seats were not guaranteed. Which I understand, but there shouldn’t be such a disparity of experience between upper level and lower level then for the same price…or they shouldn’t continually sell more tickets knowing the experience would not be guaranteed.
1No info on areas and extremely slow travel!
So Bus was clean and plenty of stops to get on/off. However the Guide was terrible, 90% of the time it was just music playing. The Edinburgh tour bus like this had a constant stream of trivia and historical info on the buildings and areas we were going thru which is what I assumed we'd get thru this one. Also, completely ignore the "round trip takes 2.5 hours depending on traffic". That's kinda normally implying 2.5 hours plus or minus five or ten. It took us over two hours just to get from Gloucester Station to Picadilly Circus, about a third of the round trip total distance. Whatever you don't plan to use it for transportation to get to booked places on time. Use the Underground way faster and no concern for surface street traffic at all. Overall I'd give them a 1 star
5Live guide = Amazing Experience.
Phil was amazing. Had us laughing the entire time and he was very knowledgeable about London. Too 2 kids along (13 and 10) and they loved him too. I’d do this again in a heart beat.
2London trip
Unfriendly driver. Bus are always late. Better book cory sighseeing due to frequency
4This is a very thorough...
This is a very thorough bus tour. Because it follows every big red bus tour route, it is long and redundant. I recommend streamlining the tour down to an hour or hour and a half.
