The Modern Nemeia Games were revived in 1996, 2300 years later, and they take place every four years, with many athletes and spectators coming and participating from across the world.

Wander through the enchanting alleys of the Old Town, where neoclassical mansions, colorful facades, and blooming bougainvillea create a postcard-perfect atmosphere. Every corner reveals hidden boutiques, artisan shops, and inviting cafés. Make your way to Syntagma Square, the heart of the town, surrounded by historic buildings that tell stories of Greece’s past as the country’s first capital. Coffee by the Sea with a View! Relax at a seaside café along the promenade and take in the serene views of the iconic Bourtzi Castle, floating gracefully in the middle of the harbour.
