1. Our guide/driver will pickup you at your hotel to transfer to Cat Ba National Park to start the tour. Meet your friendly local guide at our office inside Cat Ba National Park. After selecting your premium Giant or Trek bicycle, receive a safety briefing and route orientation to ensure a comfortable ride. Pedal out of town onto peaceful roads flanked by towering limestone peaks and lush jungle. Your first stop is the Cat Ba National Park Exhibition Center then Trung Trang Cave.

2. Continue your ride through the heart of the island, passing rice paddies and quiet hamlets to Hien Hao Commune. We stop at a local family’s home—a true oasis of rural life. We follow a historic "single dirt trail"—the very path local villagers used for generations to fetch fresh water back to their homes. The Hike: This 1.5-hour trek is easy and immersive, taking you deep into the forest. The View: As you reach the ridge, enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view of Butterfly Valley, famous for its dramatic cliffs and vibrant greenery.

5. Descend into Lien Minh Village to witness a slower pace of life where traditional gardening and livestock farming still thrive. Cat Ba is the largest island of the Cat Ba archipelago in northern Vietnam, at the southern edge of Ha Long Bay, a mass of limestone hills, forest and mangrove. Cat Ba town, a harbour of fishing boats and seafood restaurants, is the main settlement. Much of the island is Cat Ba National Park, home to the golden-headed langur, one of the rarest primates in the world, as well as macaques, squirrels and birds.
