Itinerary
Venture inside John’s favourite pub where Paul did his Carpool Karaoke gig. Voted the World's most ornate pub.
Pass by the schools and colleges attended by band members and where John lived as a teenager. And see Liverpool’s two cathedrals - one of which where Paul was ‘not good enough to join the choir’ as a schoolboy!
We then wander downhill into town and you will catch the atmosphere of where the boys played in their early days and where they departed for their infamous first stint in Hamburg as well as a venue of a failed audition as a support act.
We continue towards town via Europe’s first Art Centre, it once hosted an exhibition by Yoko Ono. And we then arrive at Matthew Street.
Welcome to Beatles Mecca - Mathew St! Home to the Cavern made famous by The Fab Four We can look at the Wall of Fame, take photos with John Lennon statue, See The Hard Day’s Night Hotel, the new Brian Epstein statue and the pass by the pubs that were frequented by the Fab Four and their manager before a final goodbye to Matthew St via the sculpture of Eleanor Rigby.
Option to enter Cavern Club whilst in Mathew St. Order/length of tour can be tailored to accommodate you visiting the venue where the boys played more than 250 times. Experience the buzz as you descend the steps into what is probably the most famous music venue in the world.
A secret stop! Not often visited by tours or visitors and I will uncover the phenomenon of what was a major turning point for the band that shook the world.
Pass by the Town Hall where they appeared on the balcony at the height of Beatlemania!
Finally we head to Liverpool’s majestic waterfront. En route you will glean an understanding of why this amazing city became the centre of maritime trade during the British Empire. And how it influenced the Merseybeat sound that became synonymous with the city. We arrive at the giant Beatles statue in the shadow of three buildings that personify Liverpool and its heritage. Another fantastic photo stop before we end the tour, and we will escort you back to where you need to be.
See points of interest from the John Lennon film ‘Nowhere Boy’. This stop is included if you arrive by train to Lime Street. Walking speed and start/finish points will alter the order/flow of the tour and end point.

About Liverpool
Liverpool is a maritime city on the River Mersey in north-west England, known for its docks, two cathedrals and as the birthplace of the Beatles.
Liverpool grew into a major world port in the 18th and 19th centuries, and the Pier Head still shows it: the Royal Liver Building and its two neighbours, together called the Three Graces, stand side by side above the Mersey. Behind them lies the Albert Dock, a former warehouse complex of red brick and iron columns that now holds galleries, shops and the Merseyside Maritime Museum.
Top-ranked sights in Liverpool: Liverpool Cathedral, Strawberry Field, Penny Lane.
