5Super informative and hands-on, 10 out of 10 experience
Great!! Must go if you love food and cooking
5Wonderful experience
Carlos and his team were so helpful, professional and absolutely engaging! The course is designed to engage the mind, the senses and the heart too. We learned, cooked, had lovely company and enjoyed the sense of humour that he introduced to the experience. Thank you for a super experience we will always remember. Darren
5So much fun! Would recommend to all!
I booked this experience for my fiancé and I as part of our engagement trip in San Sebastián. We couldn’t recommend it more. We had a blast with Carlos through the market and in the kitchen. He is super knowledgeable and taught us some things we will take into our kitchen at home. The price is 100% worth it as we make 3 dishes and have wine pairings with each one. We definitely could have spent another hour or so as a group because of how much fun we were having, but the 4.5 hours is more than enough time to walk through the market, make and enjoy our dishes! Would recommend this to anyone visiting San Sebastián that wants a unique and fun experience.
5Great experience for our group
We had a group of eight who met Carlos in the plaza and were joined by four others. Carlos took us to the local market to buy the ingredients for the days cooking. We were able to meet the vendors who provided the products we were used to. Once we arrived at the kitchen facility, Carlos began to walk us through the preparation of the ingredients for the four course meal. Carlos’s instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The food, company and instructions were excellent. We would highly recommend this class to other others..
5Fun class!
Carlos is very knowledgable. Very good market tour. Recipes were very accessible and techniques not technical. Class atmosphere was kept light. I recommend giving this a try!
5Amazing cooking class in San Sebastian!
This was such an incredible experience while in San Sebastian! Carlos was very knowledgeable and it was very interesting to learn all about the products we purchased in the market. It was great to start the experience in the market and bring it to the kitchen, very full circle! The food was incredible, and I was shocked at home simple and easy it is to cook such tasty food. The Kookin kitchen is also very well equipped for all the cooking tools you need. It was a great experience and first impression of San Sebastian for me! I would definitely recommend this class.

About San Sebastián
San Sebastián, or Donostia, is a Basque seaside city around a shell-shaped bay, with a golden beach, a hilltop fort and a pintxo scene known across Spain.
San Sebastián curves around La Concha Bay, a near-perfect shell-shaped inlet with a white-railed promenade and a sheltered city beach. Monte Urgull guards the east end with an old fort, and Monte Igueldo, at the west end, has a funicular and a viewpoint. The Parte Vieja, the old town, was rebuilt after the fire of 1813 and is packed with bars and a baroque basilica.
Top-ranked sights in San Sebastián: San Sebastian Old Town (Parte Vieja Donostiarra), La Concha Beach (Playa de la Concha), Constitution Square (Plaza de la Constitución).
