Itinerary
Your local street food tour guide, who is extremely passionate about Vietnamese street cuisine, will pick you up from your hotel by taxi before taking you on your culinary excursion to a non-tourist sector and our first stop will be at a famous local restaurant (over 30 years opening) in district 3 specializing in “Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng” (Southern Banh Mi Style with marinated beef).
You continue to immerse yourself in delectable cuisine as you make your way to the food alleys in the centre of the street food district, where you can sample a tasty "Bún Bò" Lemongrass Beef Noodles Soup, prepared by a local chef with more than 25 years of experience. Next up on your food adventure is "Bánh Cuốn" - Steamed rice rolls. Inside each piece of rolls, the sweet aroma of the mixture of pork, chopped onions, Jicama, mushrooms, salt, fish sauce, and black pepper, all lightly stir-fried before steaming will tantalize the taste eaters’ buds. You will experience the perfect fusion of 4 delicious flavors just after the first bite.
Take a stroll down a street where "all kinds of street foods" are sold before going to a popular restaurant with the neighbourhood to taste "Bánh xèo" and “Bánh Khọt” (South and Central rice pancakes), one of the most popular and extremely traditional dishes in southern of Vietnam , and learn how they are made from a chef with over 20 years experience.
At the night flower market, round up your Saigon street food walking tour with a delicious dessert like coconut ice cream, or coconut ice cream blended with an avocado smoothie. Your local guide will ride in a cab with you so you may return to your lodging.

About Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City, still widely called Saigon, is Vietnam's buzzing commercial hub of French colonial landmarks, war history and superb street food.
District 1 holds the main sights within walking distance: the red-brick Notre-Dame Cathedral, the elegant Central Post Office with its vaulted hall, the colonial Opera House and the ornate City Hall. The Independence Palace preserves its rooms as they were at the end of the war, and the War Remnants Museum tells the story of the conflict with sobering directness.
Top-ranked sights in Ho Chi Minh City: Cu Chi Tunnels, Saigon Opera House (Opéra de Saïgon), Saigon Central Post Office.
