Itinerary

  1. With welcome drink in hand (double G&T), during this walking tour of the distillery you will learn all about Aberdeen's rich distilling heritage, how City of Aberdeen Distillery was established and uncover interesting facts about botanicals. The Head Distiller will guide you around the restricted areas of the distillery and talk about how Aberdeen Gin is made. This also includes a Q&A session. Enjoy samples of both London Dry and Fruit Gins from the range of small batch Scottish Gins - served directly from French glass demi-johns. There is also an opportunity to browse the distillery shop - if you've liked the gins you've sampled, why not treat yourself to a bottle of Aberdeen Gin from the range or even take home a 5-miniature tasting box. About Aberdeen

Aberdeen is a granite city on Scotland's north-east coast, with a historic university, a fishing and oil port, beaches and castles in the countryside.

Aberdeen stands between the rivers Dee and Don on the North Sea, a city built of grey granite that glints with mica in the sun. Old Aberdeen, with its cobbled High Street, the crown tower of King's College chapel and St Machar's Cathedral, preserves a medieval university town, while Marischal College, a vast neo-Gothic granite frontage, looks over Broad Street. Footdee, a small fishing community of low cottages, sits by the harbour mouth.

Top-ranked sights in Aberdeen: Slains Castle, Crathes Castle, Drum Castle, Garden & Estate.
