  • 5Authentic, local experience!

This is a must do tour if you would like a little exercise and a true local experience!! We got our bikes then explored the town and learned some of the local history. Afterwards she took us to a local home where we enjoyed coffee, tea and snacks with a very lovely "grandma" of the neighborhood at her home! We continued our journey to the coastline where we enjoyed a small picnic with some more delicious local foods. Once back from the coast we stopped in at local market for fresh fruit and juice. If you want a truly authentic and local experience, this is the tour for you!! They are able to customize it for different interests and physical levels and are wonderful to work with. They have several other tours as well if you don't want to do cycling!!

  • 5Biking tour with great views

We had a bike tour for 4 people- had the unique experience of going into the home of a local resident and tasting some local dishes. We went on to bike to some great spots- hear a bit of history, enjoy the scenery, and also go to a small beach which was a great place to swim. Our guide Mira was wonderful and we all enjoyed the day!

  • 5Our favorite tour!!

Unbelievable way to get to know this adorable and historical city! Mira was the perfect guide - she was informative, kind and very patient and wanting us to have the best experience. We had some incredible conversations with her throughout our tour. The bike tour of old town was so charming and the three food stops added such a local flavor to the tour. And the final biking section along the sea was stunning but also physically challenging at times. But Mira was patient and encouraging as well. This is THE only way to get to know this incredible city and the people and culture.

  • 5If you’re traveling to Nafplio you cannot miss this tour!

My partner and I both agreed that this tour was our favorite part of our trip to Greece! The tour is thoughtfully planned for an immersive and comprehensive experience of Greek people, food, history, and beautiful sites. Our favorite part was stopping for a cheese tasting and cycling along the gorgeous coastal paths of Nafplio. Stavroula and Mira were wonderful and knowledgeable company. Stavroula took pictures throughout the tour so my partner and I could focus on staying present. At the end, Stavroula gave me recommendations for restaurants and shopping. I’ve taken bike tours on many trips and this was the best one I’ve ever done.

  • 5Wonderful set of experiences!!

Thank you so much for making the last few days of our trip so special … the tours with Carol and Theodore were fantastic, the dinner and dancing with Stavroula and the group was amazing, we loved our half day with Dimitri and his family, and finally our hike with Kariokos today was very rewarding. Panos was, of course, a highlight! Thank you for all of the great memories!!

About Nafplio

Nafplio is a seaside town in the Peloponnese, once the first capital of modern Greece, with Venetian lanes, a harbour fortress and a hilltop castle.

Nafplio sits on the Argolic Gulf in the north-eastern Peloponnese, a town of neoclassical mansions, Venetian houses and flower-hung balconies climbing from the waterfront. It was the first capital of modern Greece, from 1823 to 1834. The Bourtzi, a small castle on an islet, guards the harbour, and Palamidi, a Venetian fortress on a rock above the town, is reached by a long staircase or by road.
