  • 5Great day out

Fabulous day out, the actors were brilliant and kept us all entertained. We did the Dungeons too on our visit and again brilliantly played out. Falcons quest was just amazing, just wish we had more than just one day here

  • 5Two day visit to castle

We had a fabulous time visiting the castle and grounds which are well maintained and clean. We had booked an offer so had two day passes for the castle, this was great as we could enjoy it at our pace and watch the Falconers quest 3 times. We paid for the dungeons which were very entertaining and frightening if you are easily scared like me. We stayed in the castle hotel which was very comfortable and clean. We had breakfast included and husband had a full English each day. I’m dairy and wheat free so my choice was more limited. I had 2eggs, 2 hash browns and beans each day. All were cooked and served separately and tasted great. We went in school time deliberately and it was nice and quiet

  • 4A nice day out

I can't believe you have to pay for admission and parking! That is wrong! The dungeon extra cost is understandable and good. The day was lovely and the highlight for me was the falconers. They were superb. I'd recommend it to everyone.

  • 5Two Day Deserved Getaway at Warwick.

Booked a two nights stay at the Warwick Castle Hotel. The building is modern, clean and well designed. Rooms were really nice and had every thing we needed. We expected the trip to be quiet this time of year but there were quite a few school parties. The Castle itself is one of the best and most intact castles we’ve ever visited. Unlike say Carisbrooke you cannot walk all along the battlements. The stairs going up the towers follow a one way system but an are very tight and narrow. I’m. Fairly active 65 year old and I struggled a bit. We did the grounds and Castle on day one and display rooms on day two. Having visited the likes of Chatsworth House recently I was pleasantly surprised at how good the displays inside were. Plenty of Armour, Swords and guns to see. There are plenty of the rooms laid out like would have been in 1930’s etc. I’ve waited so long to visit Warwick Castle , it didn’t disappoint.

About Warwick

Warwick is a Warwickshire county town on the River Avon, with a medieval castle above the water and a centre rebuilt after a great fire in 1694.

Warwick Castle stands on a bend of the Avon, a fortress first raised by William the Conqueror's men in 1068 and grown over the centuries into a ring of towers, ramparts and state rooms. The Earls of Warwick, among them Richard Neville, the Kingmaker of the Wars of the Roses, held it as one of the great strongholds of England. The town beneath is largely Georgian, rebuilt after the fire of 1694.
