Itinerary
Being the ex-libris of the City of Évora, this chapel built by Franciscan monks in the 17th century is all "decorated" with real bones and skulls.
Church of Gothic-Manueline architecture, it was built between 1480 and 1510, the stage of several historical events that marked the period of maritime expansion in Portugal. The Convent of São Franciscode Évora was the first house of the Franciscan Order in Portugal.
Évora's central square are named after the Nobleman who, at the service of D. Afonso Henriques, took the city from the Moors. Here you can walk the narrow streets of the city with its typical commerce.
The Basilica Sé de Nossa Senhora da Assunção, better known as the Cathedral of Évora, started in 1186 and was completed in 1250. All of it made in granite, your visit is divided into three parts; the terrace with a view of the whole city, the magnificent cloisters and finally the Treasury room and the Sacred Art museum. It was here that the flags of Vasco da Gama's fleet were blessed in 1497.
the Roman Temple of Évora, known as the Temple of Diana, is located in the historic center of the city and has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Dating from the 1st century d. C., during the Roman dominion in the Iberian Peninsula.

About Lisbon
Lisbon spills down its hills to the Tagus estuary, a city of tiled façades, rattling yellow trams, viewpoint terraces and late, unhurried dinners.
The old quarters hold most of the charm. Alfama's tangle of lanes climbs to São Jorge Castle and echoes with fado in the evening, the Baixa's orderly grid runs down to the vast Praça do Comércio on the river, and Bairro Alto and Chiado mix bookshops and cafés by day with bars by night. Viewpoints such as Santa Luzia and Senhora do Monte frame red rooftops and shining water.
Top-ranked sights in Lisbon: Commerce Square (Praça do Comércio), Pena National Palace (Palacio Nacional da Pena), Alfama.
