Itinerary

  1. Your small-group shore excursion begins with convenient pickup at the Mykonos Port gate. You’ll be greeted by a friendly local driver-guide and board a modern, air-conditioned minibus (max. 18 passengers) for the first part of your journey — a panoramic drive showcasing the island’s natural beauty. (Please red the disclaimer, the tour may begin with either the walking or panoramic driving portion depending on traffic, port conditions, weather, or local events)

    15 min

  2. Enjoy a scenic drive toward Armenistis Lighthouse, perched on the northern tip of Mykonos. Along the way, your guide will make brief photo stops to let you soak in the stunning views and capture the Aegean landscape. At the lighthouse, take in panoramic views of Delos, Rhenia, and Tinos — a perfect photo opportunity.

    30 min

  3. Nestled inland, Ano Mera is a charming Cycladic village offering a peaceful contrast to the island’s lively beaches. With traditional architecture, a local monastery, and quaint tavernas, it's one of the few places where you can still experience the authentic spirit of old Mykonos.

    30 min

  4. Enjoy a stop at one of Mykonos’ beautiful southern beaches. You will be taken to either Kalafati Beach or Elia Beach, depending on traffic conditions and crowd levels in Mykonos on the day of the tour.

    15 min

  5. The second part of your tour begins as you arrive in Mykonos Town, where a dedicated professional guide will join you for a relaxed walking tour through the town’s whitewashed streets and iconic landmarks. Stroll through the streets of Mykonos Town, where traditional cube-shaped houses, colorful doors, and blooming bougainvillea create a postcard-perfect setting. As you explore on foot, you'll experience the charm of this former Cycladic fishing village, still echoing its rich history and timeless beauty. Please note that Mykonos Town is accessible only on foot. We kindly ask all participants to carefully assess their physical ability to complete the tour before making a reservation.

    30 min

  6. These iconic 16th-century windmills, perched near the sea, are one of Mykonos’ most famous sights. Built by the Venetians, they were once vital to the island’s grain production and trade. PLEASE NOTE: This stop is optional and may be skipped due to mobility concerns or heavy foot traffic.

    15 min

  7. Stroll through Little Venice, a waterfront district lined with colorful 18th-century houses, now home to lively cafés and shops. This postcard-perfect area offers beautiful views of the sea and nearby windmills — ideal for photos and a touch of island charm.

    30 min

  8. Admire one of Greece’s most photographed churches, famous for its asymmetrical whitewashed design and blend of Cycladic and Byzantine architecture. Located near the entrance to the old town, it’s a must-see landmark rich in history and visual appeal.

  • 4A nice tour of Mykonos

On the driving tour we got to see very scenic portions of Mykonos with our very personable guide and driver Nikolas. Our walking tour guide Bill was very informative. And we had time for a nice snack lunch and some shopping. The only negative was that the walking tour was a bit long because we did a round trip from the Old Port. Would have been nice to get picked up at the far end of Old Town for our return to ship. But still a nice tour of beautiful and interesting Mykonos.

The tour guides were good but there wasn't much to see othe then the windmills and large villas. I woukd have liked to see more historical sites.

  • 5We had a great day with...

We had a great day with our Guide on the walking tour of Mykonos. We saw all of the sites and some hidden gems. He had great spots to get the best photos. The second half of the tour was vis mini bus with Nicololi. He drove us around the Island to see how the people lived with several great spots. Very worthwhile and a fun day.

  • 5Great Guide

Bill was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and made our Mykonos tour such an enjoyable experience. He knew all of the key locations to visit, including some of the best spots for photos, and he was more than willing to take pictures for us along the way — and he did a great job! Bill was very familiar with the island and shared helpful information throughout the tour. He also spoke English very well, which made communication easy and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time with him and would definitely recommend Bill to anyone looking for a wonderful tour experience in Mykonos!

  • 4Authentic Mykonos

Authentic Mykonos (Shore Excursion Group.) This trip was a good overview of Mykonos. Among other sights, we went to Port of St.Ioannis (Church), Ano Mera Village and the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani. We enjoyed our time at the Mykonian Farm, seeing the goats. We wanted to split a lunch, but the additional cost to share was eight Euros, which we felt was inappropriate, so we had lunch in town, after our tour. The tour guide, Stephanie, was very good, other than she was coughing continuously, which concerned us.

  • 5Great Mykonos day tour!

Nick was our guide for the first part of our tour. He’s the very definition of a Happy Greek! Very nice and accommodating. Great driving those windy roads. He took us to all the stops. As a local, he was able to add an extra dimension The walking part of downtown Mykonos was led by Bill. He was friendly and knowledgeable. There was a family of 11 w us. They had 2 of the worst behaved children I’ve ever seen. Bill handled it very well and led us through the narrow unmarked winding streets like a pro Then Nick greeted us again w literal open arms and a smile for our transfer back to the ship Both guides knew the perfect picture spots! They happily took pictures of us Highly recommend this tour!

About Mykonos

Whitewashed lanes, windmills and golden beaches make sun-bleached Mykonos a Cycladic favourite, famous for its glamour and lively nights.

Mykonos Town, or Chora, is a maze of narrow lanes, blue doors, tiny churches and bougainvillea, said to have been laid out to confuse pirates. Little Venice, where balconied houses hang over the sea, is the classic place for sunset, with a row of windmills on the hill above. The Paraportiani Church, a whitewashed cluster of chapels, is the island's most photographed building.

Top-ranked sights in Mykonos: Mykonos Town (Chora Mykonos), Little Venice, Mykonos Windmills (Kato Mili).
