Led by a local guide, this immersive walking tour dives deep into the Mediterranean flavors and Roman heritage of the Adriatic. Your journey begins at the iconic Gregory of Nin Statue by the Golden Gate, the majestic entrance to the UNESCO-listed Old Town. As you navigate ancient streets, you will visit the city’s oldest bakery for a traditional Dalmatian sweet before heading to the bustling fish market. Savor authentic seafood favorites like anchovy bruschetta, fried fish, and calamari, paired with a glass of crisp Croatian white wine. The experience continues with a guided tasting of the region’s most prized exports: world-class pršut (cured ham), artisanal cheeses, and olive oil. About Split

Split is a busy Dalmatian port built within and around a Roman emperor's palace, with ferries to some of Croatia's loveliest islands.

Diocletian's Palace, built around the turn of the fourth century as the emperor's retirement home, is the old town itself: its walls, cellars and courtyards hold homes, shops and cafés. The Peristyle, the colonnaded heart, leads to the Cathedral of St Domnius, once the emperor's mausoleum, and its bell tower gives views over the rooftops.

Top-ranked sights in Split: Budikovac Island (Veliki Budikovac), Blue Lagoon Croatia (Krknjasi Bay), Peristyle Square (Peristil).
