  • 5Excellent trip

We had an excellent hike at giant Causeway, managed both the red (across the ridge) and blue trail (along the waterfront ) back to the visitor center. Our driver was very knowledgable and managed to show us many of the sites. We got back to the ship an hour before all on board so we were happy with that. Overall a very good tour

  • 5Five star of five stars

Stuart our tour guide met us at the port even though we didn’t get off the ship tell 9:15. He was our driver and guide and was full of historical facts and stories. Very witty and funny. The perfect amount. He planned our lunch and ordered a head of time. The perfect day because of him. Well rounded sights to see too. Highly recommend 🙌

  • 5Excellent site, the guide…

The sites were terrific. The driver, Jim, was a careful driver, no speeding, safe. The bus was very hot. I ask for the a/c to be turned up, it was for a few minutes then turned down. We sat towards the rear and burned up the entire day. Many people were nodding off to nap. Lisa, the guide: the microphone was very loud, she didn’t inquire about our comfort, she ran the group like a drill Sargent— a Was ready - unapologeticly, to leave a passenger because she hadn’t returned to the bus at the time stated… all the people around us were very concerned about her lack of empathy. It ended up that her group didn’t meet her. She spoke nonstop the entire day. Appreciated her knowledge, but rest gaps would have been welcome. It also seemed she was bragging about her experience in guiding tours. At Giants Causeway she didn’t tell us there was a shuttle down nor back. She told us the blue & red route options… if we’d taken the red, we wouldn’t have made it back to the bus. This wasn’t her issue, but the area to buy trinkets was hardly as big as a closet!

  • 4Excellent tour in Belfast

It’s a great way to see the Giant’s Causeway and some beautiful landscapes. The tour itself deserves 5 stars. However, our guide (who was also the driver) spent a lot of time telling us personal stories about himself and his family, while providing relatively little historical information. He talked almost continuously for several hours, and the speakers were very loud. We asked if he could lower the volume, but he said he couldn’t because it was fixed. I understand that some tourists may enjoy hearing personal stories from their guides, but for me, there was too much talking and not enough historical information about the places we were visiting.

  • 5Highly recommend!

Tour left right from the cruise port, very mindful of our timetable for the cruise. Troy was the best guide we’ve had this trip! He’s very professional, informative, and gave us a great tour of Giants Causeway and the coast! A tour from our cruise ship was ridiculously priced and we ran into the other passengers at every stop, so it’s almost identical for a portion of the price. Back in plenty of time for our cruise departure, could have even gone into Belfast for an hour or two before departure had we wanted. Highly recommend!

About Bushmills

Bushmills is a small village on the north Antrim coast of Northern Ireland, famous for its whiskey and close to the Giant's Causeway.

Bushmills sits beside the River Bush, a few kilometres inland on the north Antrim coast. The village grew around its distillery, licensed in 1608, and the stone buildings around the square have the look of an old trading town. The Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO-listed shore of some 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, lies about three kilometres to the north.
