5Great way to experience bath
Interesting tour of the city and some of its history
5Informative walk through Bath with the Roman Baths
Excellent walking tour of Bath with Elizabeth. We started by Bath Abbey, strolled by the Roman Baths and by other Bath locations. We then visited other location where she shared information and historical facts about Bath. Highly recommend. We also purchased the tour with the Roman Bath tickets included. This portion occured after the walking tour and used a hand held listening device provided by the museum. Excellent presentation of the Roman Baths. A highlight!
5Great Introduction to Bath & the Roman Baths!
Great Introduction to Bath & the Roman Baths! I’m so sorry that I didn’t catch our tour guide’s name! I think the confusion at the beginning with the Roman Baths entrance tickets caused her introduction to get lost in the mix. That said, she handled the ticket issues incredibly well and never let them affect the experience for the group. She did an amazing job leading us through the city and sharing interesting facts, history, and fun little factoids along the way. Even though we had visited Bath earlier this year, we learned so many new and fascinating things that we had never heard before. The tour also included entry to the Roman Baths, which is a must-see when visiting Bath. If it’s your first time in the city and you want a great introduction to Bath while also exploring the Roman Baths, this is a fantastic tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and handled an unexpected hiccup at the beginning with professionalism and grace. Highly recommend this tour!
5A very educational...
A very educational walking tour of Bath. Victoria, our guide, was excellent. I appreciated her knowledge and humor.

5Great, engaging and informative tour of Bath
Jane was a great tour guide, friendly, engaging and knew lots of information that she was happy to share. A great 2 hour walk around the city at a gentle pace to accommodate the whole group.

About Bath
Bath, in the west of England, is a Georgian spa city of honey-coloured stone, built around natural hot springs first used by the Romans.
Bath's hot springs were first enclosed by the Romans, who built a temple and bathhouse complex here in the first century, now the Roman Baths museum beside Bath Abbey. In the eighteenth century the city rebuilt itself as a fashionable spa in pale local limestone, and the terraces and crescents designed by John Wood the Elder and the Younger, including the Circus and the Royal Crescent, give it its look. The whole city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
