Itinerary
09:00 AM: Meet your local guide at the meeting point (Quán Mộc Pù Luông). Today is all about slowing down, leaving the roads behind, and discovering the quieter side of Pu Luong on foot.
The trail leaves Don Village and follows narrow paths through rice terraces towards the peaceful villages of Quan and Uoi, where everyday life still moves at its own pace.
Continue to Lan Village, where traditional Thai weaving remains part of daily life. Take your time to meet local people and learn about a craft that has been passed down through generations. Prefer exploring on two wheels? Guests who pre-book the cycling option will ride quiet village roads through the valley to Hieu Waterfall, following a different route while enjoying the same beautiful countryside. After lunch, cycle back to Lan Village along another scenic route before returning to the meeting point. For trekkers, the trail continues for about another hour through hidden village paths before reaching a Co Lung duck farm. Learn why this famous local breed is so special and protected by Vietnam's Geographical Indication (GI) certification.
At the main road, your transfer will be waiting to take you to Hieu Waterfall, passing peaceful villages, streams, and beautiful countryside along the way. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant beside the waterfall before taking time to swim, relax, or simply listen to the sound of the water. After lunch, continue into the quieter upper part of Hieu Village. The trail passes small streams, scattered stilt houses, and peaceful farmland, offering a glimpse of everyday mountain life far from the usual tourist routes.
By late afternoon, your transfer will be waiting at the main road to take you comfortably back to Don Village, where the journey comes to an end.
