Highlights

Discover Mount Olympus beyond the usual tourist routes on a relaxed, small-group tour focused on mythology, hidden viewpoints, and authentic local storytelling. Guided by Michalis, a local expert with 25+ years of experience, you’ll explore four lesser-known spots most visitors miss. At each stop, the myths of Zeus, Hera, and Poseidon come to life, connected directly to the landscape. Travel entirely by car at a comfortable pace, with short breaks for photos, coffee, or snacks, making it perfect for families, seniors, and travelers seeking an easy, memorable visit. Flexible departures and guaranteed on-time return for cruise guests. Your safety and peace of mind come first. With 25 years of local experience and as a former volunteer with the Mount Olympus Rescue Team, I know the region well and understand the importance of preparation, care and responsibility. Relax, enjoy the journey and let me take care of the details.

  • 5Fantastic tour of Mount Olympus

Our tour with Michael was perfect! Communication ahead of time was helpful and clear and the pickup was flawless. Michael took us to beautiful places and talked about the history and myths about each one. His love for the area is evident and we enjoyed his enthusiasm. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone.

  • 5Excellent tour of Mount Olympus and more!

This excursion was our first cruise port in Greece and Michael provided us with detailed information that applied to all the other Greek ports. His knowledge of the Greek gods was amazing, but he also shared what life in Greece is like today, including a snack stop to have a native experience. He took us to many beautifully scenic, quiet and remote places which allowed us to experience them without crowds or being rushed. We had a wonderful tour with a very friendly and personable tour guide.

  • 5An experience we will cherish for the rest of our lives!!

This was the most amazing tour we have ever had! Michael brought the Greek history and Greek mythology that our family loves to life with his wonderful stories and the beautiful and precious places he shared with us! Our children, 13 and 10, who love learning about the Greek myths through “Percy Jackson” and all they have learned in school, were so interested in the stories that Michael shared! He made us all feel like part of his family! His warmth and kindness along with his remarkable knowledge and enthusiasm about the myths and the sacred places made our tour with him an experience we will cherish forever!

  • 5Great time in nature learning about Greek Gods

We liked this excursion a lot and would recommend it. Michael, our guide, met us a short walk from the cruise port. Our family of 3 joined a couple for this excursion. Our day included a delicious spanakopita snack (yummy!), some short hikes (including a waterfall), visits to a few chapels (beautiful), and excellent storytelling. We really enjoyed learning about the Greeks Gods and Greek culture. Michael was friendly and informative and kept us entertained with his amazing stories.

  • 5We were able to visit the foothill towns of Mt Olympus and then the mountain itself. We had fun doing some easy walking.

We had a wonderful time with Michael seeing amazing sites and hearing stories about the Greek Gods and Greece’s religious history. We heard fantastical tales that were fun and thought provoking! Thanks Michael!

About Thessaloniki

Thessaloniki, Greece's second city, is a Byzantine and Ottoman port on the Aegean, with a waterfront tower, Roman monuments and excellent street food.

Thessaloniki was founded in 315 BC and became one of the main cities of the Roman and Byzantine worlds. The White Tower stands on the waterfront promenade, a rounded Ottoman-era tower that is now the city's emblem, and the Rotunda and the Arch of Galerius recall the Roman ruler who made the city his base. The early Christian and Byzantine churches, among them Agios Dimitrios, are listed by UNESCO.

Top-ranked sights in Thessaloniki: White Tower (Lefkos Pyrgos), Aristotelous Square, Church and Crypt of Ayios Dimitrios.
