In this tour we are going to visit some of the most beautiful castles in Croatia: Trakoscan, Vinica and Erdody. All of them hold a special significance and have lots of stories and legends. All of them are within a comfortable daytour from Zagreb. The region is a beautiful lush green area, relaxing, with lots of trees and hills, with intense green color in spring and summer.

Stari Grad is one of the most significant castles in Croatia when it comes to original furniture and the structure.
We will visit Arboretum Opeka and the ruin of the Bombelles castle. Even though today only a ruin, the property itself is beautiful as it is an important Arboretum with some wonderful things to see. You will certainly get a glimpse into how the noble Bombelles family used to live here.
This 14th century castle is the most representative castle in Croatia, situated in a beautiful scenary of natural hilly landscape and a quiet lake next to it.

Zagreb is Croatia's capital, a city of two historic towns, cathedral spires, café-lined streets and green parks beneath Mount Medvednica.
Zagreb has two historic halves. The Upper Town, Gornji Grad, sits on a hill with cobbled lanes, the tiled-roof church of St Mark and the Lotrščak Tower, from which a cannon is fired at noon each day. Below, the Lower Town has Austro-Hungarian squares, theatres and museums around Ban Jelačić Square, with the twin neo-Gothic spires of the cathedral just east and a short funicular linking the two parts.
