About Kemer
Kemer is a resort town on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, where pine-covered Taurus mountains drop to pebble beaches, ancient ruins and a marina.
Kemer lies on the Gulf of Antalya, south-west of the city of Antalya, where the pine forests of the Taurus Mountains come down almost to the sea. It grew from a village into a resort of hotels, a marina and a long pebbly shore. Behind the town the peak of Tahtalı Dağı rises to more than 2,300 metres, and a cable car climbs to its summit from the coast.
Top-ranked sights in Kemer: Olympos Cable Car (Olympos Teleferik), Dinopark, Mt. Olympos (Tahtali Dagi).
