Itinerary
8 AM or your given time, You will be picked up by our chauffeur from your Hotel/Airport/Railway station or your given location in Jaipur. Meet your guide & begin your tour of Jaipur city, which was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh - II, Jaipur was the first planned city in India. This town is also referred to as Pink city for the colour of buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honour the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882.
Start your tour by visiting Jaipur Fort. This magnificent Fort, sitting on the rugged hills outside the town of Jaipur, is an example of the fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture made from red sandstone and white marble. The highlight of the fort is the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), a palace known for its craftsmanship in mirrors. Fort served as the main residence of the Rajput Rulers with its large ramparts, several gateways, and paved paths used to serve as the capital of the erstwhile Jaipur princely state.
Jal Mahal, an architectural beauty, seems it be floating prettily right in the centre of the Man Sagar Lake. This low-rise symmetrical Palace was once a shooting lodge for the Maharajas. The most striking feature of this palace is that while only one storey that appears above the water level, there are 4 storeys submerged underneath. The entry inside is prohibited, but it has still become a true tourist delight.
Jaipur City Palace, once the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, is a palatial complex with impressive gardens and historical buildings, including the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. See the fusion of Rajput, Mughal & European architecture. Visit the museum in Chandra Mahal with your guide to see its rich collection of royal costumes and Rajput weapons.
Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory used to measure the distances and positions of celestial objects. The Jantar Mantar consists of 19 large instruments each serving a very specific purpose. The most significant among these is the Samrat Yantra which is the largest sundial in the country.
The palace of breeze was built as an extension to the City Palace. The honeycomb-shaped and beautifully carved 953 windows allow the breeze to blow through the palace and make it a perfect summer palace. The construction of Hawa Mahal allows the royal ladies to enjoy everyday street scenes, festivities, or royal processions on the street without being seen.
After your amazing tour of Jaipur and the memorable visit to the monuments of the Pink City, you will be driven back to your hotel with a lot of wonderful and sweet memories.

About Jaipur
Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan, is a royal capital of forts, palaces and bazaars set against the rugged Aravalli hills.
The old city's walls enclose a grid of streets painted terracotta pink, laid out in the eighteenth century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. At its heart, the City Palace mixes Rajput and Mughal styles, the honeycomb façade of the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, looks down on the street, and the giant astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar still track the sun.
Top-ranked sights in Jaipur: Palace of Wind (Hawa Mahal), City Palace, Jal Mahal (Water Palace).
