Itinerary
With a radiating blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and even a touch of European style, the grand City Palace is located in the center of Jaipur. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during 1729–1732, it was once the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur.
The observatory is the largest and best preserved of the five in India by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century, and it features the world’s largest stone sundial. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The massive tower of Hawa Mahal, also called the Palace of Winds, was built in 1799 by the poet king Sawai Pratap Singh as a summer retreat for him and his family.

About Jaipur
Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan, is a royal capital of forts, palaces and bazaars set against the rugged Aravalli hills.
