Highlights
Agra is a major tourist destination because of its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Tāj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpūr Sikrī, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Agra is a city in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state. It's home to the iconic Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built for the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal (who died in childbirth in 1631). The imposing main building features a massive dome and intricately carved white marble inlaid with precious stones. This is set behind a reflecting pool inside a courtyard defined by 4 minarets.

About Jaipur
Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan, is a royal capital of forts, palaces and bazaars set against the rugged Aravalli hills.
The old city's walls enclose a grid of streets painted terracotta pink, laid out in the eighteenth century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. At its heart, the City Palace mixes Rajput and Mughal styles, the honeycomb façade of the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, looks down on the street, and the giant astronomical instruments of Jantar Mantar still track the sun.
Top-ranked sights in Jaipur: Palace of Wind (Hawa Mahal), City Palace, Jal Mahal (Water Palace).
