  • 5Absolutely amazing!

This was one of the highlights of our trip and an absolute must do, despite the early start. We were picked up at 4:40 am, but the timing depends on the sunrise. Our driver, Mohammed, was great. The balloon pilot, who I think was called Abdul (but I’m not sure) was fantastic. He made everyone feel comfortable and safe. The balloon flight itself was unforgettable! It was magical suspended there, seeing sun rise over the desert, surrounded by tens of other balloons! A plentiful breakfast was served after the flight, a variety of breads, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, honey, oil, a small salad and tea or coffee served with a smile by another Mohammed. I’d thoroughly recommend this to everyone!

  • 5Amazing

Best experience from Viator and an amazing adventure! Pick up was a breeze from our Riad. When we arrived we were greeted by Mohammed with coffee or tea. WC on the property were clean. The drone package was very reasonably priced! The entire experience was 10/10. Our pilot was experienced and funny! It wasn’t as scary as I expected. The breakfast after was delicious. And we were dropped off at our Riad! It was an early morning but totally worth it. From pick up to drop off it was around 4 hours. Would do this 1000 times over. Highly recommend!

  • 5Up, Up and Away

Very early start if you choose to watch the Sunrise, but well worth it. 45 minute drive to launch site, in a comfortable MPV. Quick coffee and then into balloon, instructions as to position for landing and off you go. Fantastic views, really worth spending the extra to have the drone and action camera package, the edited video is great. Landing was far more smooth than the flight landing in Casablanca 😂 Informative pilot and all the ground staff very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good. Mohammed, who organises food and drinks was super attentive to all guests. Would definitely recommend: a) doing the experience; b) taking the drone etc package c) going with this company

  • 5Up, up and away with Marrakech Dream Ballooning

Early start - we were picked up at 5am from the hotel. It’s a 45 minute drive (suv) to the Marrakech Dream Ballooning site where we were greeted and offered Moroccan tea. We were then driven another fifteen minutes or so to the launch site. Super exciting where we watched the balloon inflate and the team prepare for take off as it was starting to get light. There were four compartments in the balloon basket and then a central area for the pilot. As the balloon was inflating the basket was on its side and then of course once it is almost fully inflated the basket rights itself. There are foot and hand holds and the ground team assist with the climb in. We had a brief safety briefing about landing position and then we were off suddenly floating on the sky and drifting with the wind. I really do not like heights and sudden drops but this was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I feel confident in saying that anyone with vertigo shouldn’t worry too much about giving this a go. Tge sides of the basket are high enough to give you a feeling of safety and maybe just don’t look directly onwards and all will be well ! The group of four of us all really enjoyed it just an awesome experience start to finish. Our pilot Asun (spelling.) was amazing. The landing was a bit rough but the ground team were there to steady the basket and secure the balloon. We were in the air for probably around an hour. We were taken by suv back to base for a Berber breakfast - pasties breads, boiled eggs fruit tea coffee and bottled water. We were back at the hotel for around 930am. Awesome experience and not be missed - great value for money.

  • 5Great experience!!!

We took the early morning (sunrise) ride. It was amazing to see the crews prepping the balloons and then all balloons taking flight at the same time. It is a bit early in the day, but totally worth it.

About Marrakech

At the foot of the Atlas Mountains, red-walled Marrakech is famed for its maze-like medina, lively main square and tranquil riads and gardens.

Jemaa el-Fnaa, the great square at the centre of the medina, changes character through the day, from juice sellers and snake charmers in the morning to smoke-wreathed food stalls and musicians after dark. The minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque rises nearby as the city's landmark, and the souks spread north in a warren of lanes selling leather, lanterns, carpets and spices.

Top-ranked sights in Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Tizi-n'Tichka Pass, Jemaa el-Fna (Djemaa el-Fna).
