Meet your friendly Sovaba Travel guide and board a comfortable, air-conditioned van for a scenic drive to Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, your guide will introduce the day's itinerary and share interesting facts about the region.
08:30 AM – 08:45 AM | Pickup in Phong Nha Guests staying in Phong Nha Town will be picked up from their hotel or homestay. Once everyone has joined the tour, continue the short journey to Paradise Cave while enjoying the peaceful countryside scenery.
09:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Explore Paradise Cave Arrive at Paradise Cave, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful dry caves in Asia. Begin with a 1.6 km electric buggy ride through the forest, followed by a short uphill walk to the cave entrance. Inside, stroll along the wooden boardwalk for approximately 1 km, admiring spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and enormous limestone chambers that have formed over millions of years. Your guide will explain the cave's fascinating geology and history while allowing plenty of time for photography.
12:00 PM – 01:30 PM | Vietnamese Lunch After exploring Paradise Cave, enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant near the national park. Take time to relax, recharge, and experience authentic local cuisine before continuing your afternoon adventure.
01:30 PM – 04:30 PM | Boat Cruise & Cave Exploration Continue to Phong Nha Cave, famous for its magnificent underground river and impressive limestone formations. Cruise along the peaceful Son River aboard a traditional dragon boat before entering the cave by water. Inside, marvel at breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites, and vast chambers while learning about the cave's geological significance and UNESCO World Heritage status.
04:30 PM – 04:45 PM | Drop-off in Phong Nha Guests staying in Phong Nha Town will be dropped off at their hotel or homestay. This is the perfect ending for travelers continuing their stay in the national park area.
05:30 PM – 05:45 PM | Return to Dong Hoi Sit back and relax as your Sovaba Travel vehicle returns to Dong Hoi City. About Dong Hoi
Dong Hoi is a coastal city in central Vietnam, the gateway to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and its giant caves.
Dong Hoi is the capital of Quang Binh province, on a narrow stretch of Vietnam's central coast where the Nhat Le River meets the sea. The gate of the old citadel, Quang Binh Quan, still stands, though much of the city was rebuilt after the bombing of the Vietnam War. It is a quiet seaside town with a long beach at Nhat Le and a riverside promenade.
