Highlights
The ride starts easy, passing through serene rice paddies before gradually climbing into the lush greenery at the base of the Doi Kiew Lom mountain range. Along the way, we’ll stop at a small village, where you’ll have the chance to walk around, soak in the atmosphere, and learn about their unique culture and way of life. Further up, we’ll visit a Hmong village, offering another opportunity to explore and connect with local traditions. From there, get ready for a solid uphill ride—challenging, but absolutely worth it. As we climb the hills around Doi Kiew Lom, you’ll be rewarded with stunning mountain views and rich greenery If you love temples but want something new, then you will love Phra That Si Mueang Pong (Wat Ban Pong). Authentic Hmong village life – Huai Siao developed as a Hmong settlement around the mid-1970s, with families moving there from several other mountain communities. Royal Project area – the Huai Siao Royal Project Development Center was established in 1981 to support local agriculture and improve livelihoods
It is built around a former quarry that filled with water, creating the dramatic canyon-like lake and steep red-earth walls that make the location distinctive. Today it is one of Hang Dong’s best-known attractions.

About Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is northern Thailand's cultural capital, a moated old city of temples, markets and crafts surrounded by forested mountains.
The old city, ringed by a square moat and the remains of brick walls, holds dozens of temples, among them the elegant Wat Phra Singh and the ruined great chedi of Wat Chedi Luang. Above town, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep crowns a mountain, reached by a staircase lined with serpents, with views across the valley.
Top-ranked sights in Chiang Mai: Doi Inthanon National Park, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Golden Triangle.
