Authentic Hmong village life – Huai Siao developed as a Hmong settlement around the mid-1970s, with families moving there from several other mountain communities. Royal Project area – the Huai Siao Royal Project Development Center was established in 1981 to support local agriculture and improve livelihoods
It is built around a former quarry that filled with water, creating the dramatic canyon-like lake and steep red-earth walls that make the location distinctive. Today it is one of Hang Dong’s best-known attractions.
