  • 3We Saw aTurtle and Got Very Muddy

Positives were seeing a Turtle and the Mud Spa experience, but those events were less than an hour in what was a 12 hour, door to door experience. We found that the boat journeys were just too long and quite crowded.

  • 5Best day out

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a fantastic day on the Dalyan River Cruise and Turtle Beach! 🐢🌊☀️ The views were absolutely beautiful, and the whole day was such a lovely experience. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed every part of the trip. The highlight for my son was definitely seeing the turtles at Turtle Beach — he absolutely loved it and it was so lovely seeing his face light up! 🐢❤️ The crew were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the day, which made the experience even better. We made some really special memories and would definitely recommend the Dalyan River Cruise and Turtle Beach to anyone visiting Turkey. 🇹🇷 Thank you for such a wonderful day! ❤️

  • 4Not really intersting

The trip was alright, at the boat we weren't allowed to bring drinks or snacks as the owner wanted us to buy them from him, the prices were more than triple times if you buy it from the shop. He took pictures of us and he handed them asking for 500 Lira per picture which was a rip off.

  • 2Barkas con

We went with Barkas..Do not go with these guys..Its £25 per person..They just want to rip you off. The drinks are over priced..They sold us Crab meat at 400 turkish lira. There was lots of people buying it to feed the expected Turtles! We assumed that we would be up close & personal with them. Well we got to Turtle beach and was told to get back to our river boat for 13.30. There was no mention that we would be feeding any turtles. Well one appeared and the guide said they dont come if the boat engines are running. Well what you think when there are tonnes of boats all lined up. This was a con!!!!! ,We asked for a refund for the crab meat. Totally refused point blank. Obnoxious little man. Also another couple we chatted to had the same situation. We were all fuming..The guide said we ain't a zoo and can't make them appear..There was no room between the boats for more than one turtle to appear.. The guide still had the nerve to try and sell us pictures he had taken of us during the day. Get lost..The included food was awful..Do not bother with these totally rip off people. We did another boat trip with 5 swim stops and it was brilliant. The food was lovely and could have 2nds..Snorkel & masks provided free..Go with these.

About Marmaris

Marmaris is a Turkish Mediterranean resort around a deep, pine-fringed bay, with a small castle, a yacht harbour and ferries to the Greek island of Rhodes.

Marmaris sits at the head of a long, sheltered bay surrounded by pine-covered mountains, and the harbour is lined with moored yachts and gulets. The small castle above the old quarter was rebuilt by Suleiman the Magnificent in 1522, when he gathered his fleet here before sailing against Rhodes, and it now houses a museum. Whitewashed lanes of the old town lead down to the bazaar.

Top-ranked sights in Marmaris: Dalyan, Iztuzu Beach (Turtle Beach), Dalyan River.
