Itinerary
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city life, spend a day sailing, and visit the charming Princes’ Islands. Sit back, relax, and feel the Turkish air against your skin as you island-hop along the Sea of Marmara. Also known as Adalar, the Princes’ Islands were once a solitary place for monks and a place of exile during the Byzantine era; they are now a popular destination for locals and tourists. Bicycles and horse-drawn carriages replace motorized vehicles on these oases of peace and quiet. There are a total of 9 islands making up the Adalar, but only 4 are open to the public. Embark on your cruise along the deep blue waters of the Marmara Sea. As you head for the main island of Büyük Ada, stop at the smaller inhabited islands along the way to see their unique characteristics. Upon arrival at Büyük Ada, the largest and most famous among the Princes’ Islands, enjoy a short guided walking tour through the streets decorated with beautiful wooden houses.

About Istanbul
Istanbul straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus, with Byzantine and Ottoman monuments, busy bazaars and ferries crossing between continents.
The historic peninsula holds the greatest landmarks. Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome face each other in Sultanahmet, the Basilica Cistern lies beneath the streets, and Topkapı Palace spreads across the hill above the Golden Horn. A short walk away, the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar have traded for centuries, and Süleymaniye Mosque, built by the great Ottoman architect Sinan, crowns one of the city's seven hills.
Top-ranked sights in Istanbul: Dolmabahce Palace (Dolmabahce Sarayi), Bosphorus, Bosphorus Bridge (Bogazici Koprusu).
