5Fun and interesting
Really fun and interesting. The guide Henry was great, funny and knowledgable. Loved it. Highly recommend this experience in York.
5Both great and disappointing
Sam our instructor was wonderful and very knowlegeable and able to answer all of our questions. He was enthusiastic and engaging. Unfortunately we had been displaced from the usual enclosed area despite booking well in advance for the owner to give a private meeting in this area which made us feel our booking wasn't important to the cocoa works. This meant we were in the main shop which was noisy and distracting and did impact on our enjoyment of the session.
5Fun and Delicious!
My husband and I had a really fun time in this chocolate class. We learned about how chocolate is made and came away with delicious chocolate. Highly recommended!
5Fun experience
A fun option for everyone. Lots of interesting information and our instructor was very good. We both brought our chocolate bar home with us!
4A chocolate cornucopia
An interesting, informative and fun lecture, however aprons would have been appreciated as it involves melted chocolate. The whole experience lasts about an hour but the chocolate bars are not prepared until the very end then take roughly 30 minutes to set. Bear this in mind if you are on a tight schedule.

About York
York is a walled cathedral city in northern England, a place of Roman and Viking history, medieval lanes and a vast Gothic minster.
York Minster, among the largest Gothic cathedrals in northern Europe, towers over the city, and its stained glass includes the Great East Window, one of the biggest areas of medieval glass in the country. Medieval walls, the longest in England, encircle the old centre and can be walked along the top. The Shambles, a narrow lane of leaning timber-framed buildings, was once the street of butchers.
