Itinerary
Tour guide and Driver will meet you here at External Gate which is 500m away from Internal Gate of Chan May Port. Then moving to Hue city center. It takes around 1,5 hours to get to Imperial City
Explore Hue's Imperial City with your guide and discover the former royal heart of the Nguyen dynasty. Walk through its historic grounds and hear the stories behind the buildings and the people who lived and worked here. This visit introduces Hue's imperial heritage before you experience another side of the city through its food. Admission is included.
After exploring Imperial City on foot, you will be picked up by Cyclo (Pedicab) and travel through Hue by cyclo for a food tour at three family-run businesses, each operating for more than 20 years. Taste banh khoai and nem lui at the first stop, where you can meet the owner, watch the cooking and ask questions with your guide's help. Continue for bun bo Hue, then banh beo, banh nam and banh ram it. At the latter two stops, your guide shares the stories behind the dishes while you eat indoors. The food stops replace a separate restaurant lunch. Return to Chan May Port by private vehicle afterwards.
