The castle is built on a hilltop overlooking the town and the surrounding desert landscape and is the highest point in Cappadocia. Unfortunately not enough time to climb top of it. So will go to near panoramic place to see it.
About Zelve Open Air Museum Originally a Byzantine-era monastery (9th century), it is reputed to be both one of the earliest settled and last-abandoned monasteries in the entire region. The 'museum' houses the oldest known examples of Cappadocian architecture and religious paintings.
Pasabag Monks Valley is known for its unusual rock formations, which are sometimes referred to as “fairy chimneys”. The formations are the result of volcanic eruptions and erosion over time. The name “Monks Valley” comes from the fact that monks used to live in the rock-cut rooms in the valley during the Byzantine era.

About Goreme
Göreme sits in the heart of Cappadocia, a surreal landscape of fairy chimneys, cave churches and dawn skies filled with hot-air balloons.
Göreme's houses and hotels are carved into soft volcanic rock, and the town is ringed by valleys of cone-shaped fairy chimneys shaped by erosion. The Göreme Open-Air Museum gathers rock-cut monasteries and churches whose frescoes, painted by Byzantine monks, still glow with colour, especially in the Dark Church.
Top-ranked sights in Goreme: Pigeon Valley (Güvercinlik Vadisi), Devrent Valley (Devrent Vadisi), Monks Valley (Pasabag Vadisi).
