You will be collected from your preferred pick-up point in Bath and driven, by private vehicle, to your guide's favourite viewpoint to give you a great perspective of the city.
After visiting the viewpoint your guide, who was born and grew up in Bath, will take you on a walking tour of the centre of Bath. You will be shown all of the city's famous buildings and landmarks and your guide will tell you interesting stories about these and the city. About Bath
Bath, in the west of England, is a Georgian spa city of honey-coloured stone, built around natural hot springs first used by the Romans.
Bath's hot springs were first enclosed by the Romans, who built a temple and bathhouse complex here in the first century, now the Roman Baths museum beside Bath Abbey. In the eighteenth century the city rebuilt itself as a fashionable spa in pale local limestone, and the terraces and crescents designed by John Wood the Elder and the Younger, including the Circus and the Royal Crescent, give it its look. The whole city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
