5Sunset boat trip
Jesus and David were the best crew to go with! Hilarious, amazing vibes and catered to our every need. Very informative about where we were going and the history but kept it light with lots of jokes and laughter! Highly recommend going and request them if you can 10/10 experience
5Great way to view the best sunset ever
We had a great time on the lagune of bacalar. Vicky, David and Luis were good guides they took us to the best places and explained the origine of the black cenote, pirate canal and more. Moreover they took us to a brilliant place to watch the sunset. You need to get up early but it worthwhile the effort.
5I only fell over once lol
Great introduction to paddle boarding and beautiful views - no one else around for hundreds of metres for the most part. David was a great guide. I would say as a beginner a 2.5 hour paddle board experience was a bit too long, but really great otherwise and most people wouldn’t complain about that! For the sunset experience I would have preferred to be in a kayak as I would have been able to watch it better and relax more
5Sunset boat tour - Bacalar
We did the sunset boat tour and it was an amazing trip. We visited 3 cenotes all beautiful, bird island and the passing to the other lagoon. Luis and Abraham were out tour guides and they were amazing. They were so knowledgeable and gave us amazing insight into the local wildlife. An amazing trip!
5Fun and relaxing trip on the lagoon
Luis amd Nacho took real good care showing us around the lagoon! It was a really nice and relaxing boat trip! I would totally recommend them to everyone!
5A lovely time, thank you
Me and my friend had a lovely time on the sunset boat tour! It was interesting to see different cenotes, the lagoon and the pirates channel. A big shoutout to our guide April who was so lovely and had a very good knowledge which she shared with us, it was really nice to have a guide who was so passionate. Abraham the driver was also lovely. The boat was nice and comfy. Two drinks and an apple included too. Thank you!

About Bacalar
Bacalar is a quiet lakeside town in Quintana Roo, beside a long freshwater lagoon of shifting blues known as the Lake of Seven Colours.
Bacalar sits on the western shore of a lagoon about forty kilometres long in the south of Quintana Roo, close to the border with Belize. The water, shallow over white sand and deeper in places, shades from pale turquoise to deep blue, giving the lagoon its name, the Lake of Seven Colours. The Fort of San Felipe, built in the eighteenth century to guard the lagoon from pirates, stands above the town square and holds a small museum.
