The capital Of Greece
The Theatre of Dionysus is an ancient Greek theatre in Athens. It is built on the south slope of the Acropolis hill, originally part of the sanctuary of Dionysus Eleuthereus. The first orchestra terrace was constructed on the site around the mid- to late-sixth century BC, where it hosted the City Dionysia.
The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a stone Roman theater structure located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. The building was completed in 161 AD and then renovated in 1950.

5Go early to avoid the heat
Our guide Nick was very knowledgeable. He also was very considerate of our group to make sure everyone stayed engaged. The tour lasted about 2 hours, so it was a very nice pace to enjoy the surroundings.
5Great tour
Great tour, Petros was great, a knowledgeable, personable guide. We were advised to do the early tour at 8am and the site was already very busy.
5This was an amazing tour....
This was an amazing tour. Our tour guide, Afroditi, was the best. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. It was a hot day and she took us up to the Acropolis, while stopping in the shade to give us more details. While in the Museum she made sure we saw everything by moving us from one open area to another which avoided most of the crowds. We would definitely recommend this tour and you should request Afroditi.
5The tour was the perfect...
The tour was the perfect length for those wanting to see all of the Parthenon and the museum. Our tour guide Stevi was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history which made it more enjoyable. She stopped to answer any questions, gave everyone the appropriate amount of breaks and made sure everything went smoothly. Would do it again!
5Wow
Our guide Elizabeth, was excellent and told us everything we could of asked about before we had a chance. What an incredible place although very busy!!
3Tour was good, Tour office not so much
The tour was great, and the guide was amazing. They tell you to show up early in the description. So we did. What they don’t tell you is that there is a woman inside the building who will yell at you for being early. Not only that, rather than give us our tix when we arrived, she made us stand in line twice. Once because we were too early, the second after telling us to return in 15 minutes, which we did, and then told we were too early again. A complete crap (insert your favorite expletive) show. That girl needs to be reminded that she works for the tourist industry.

About Athens
Athens sets the Acropolis above a sprawling modern capital, where ancient ruins, hillside lanes and long taverna evenings sit side by side.
The Parthenon crowns the Acropolis, flanked by the Erechtheion and its porch of caryatids, and the Acropolis Museum at the foot of the hill displays sculpture found on the rock. Around it, the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and the marble Panathenaic Stadium make the classical city easy to walk through.
