In 60 minutes, visitors can take in the awe-inspiring beauty, walk along the lakeshore, and capture memorable photos. Located in Banff National Park, Alberta, is renowned for its stunning waterfalls and dramatic limestone cliffs. We will go up to Lower falls only. The easy-to-moderate trail follows Johnston Creek, featuring catwalks and bridges that provide breathtaking views of Falls. This popular hiking destination, known for its picturesque natural setting and opportunities for wildlife observation, can be quite crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons.
Starting 13 Oct, Emerald Lake, located in Yoho National Park, Canada, enchants visitors with its striking emerald-green waters, reflecting the surrounding mountains and forests. The serene ambiance, coupled with the picturesque setting, makes it a haven for nature lovers and photographers alike. Discover the tranquility and beauty of Emerald Lake in the heart of the Rockies.
Starting 13 Oct, Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park is a unique and fascinating natural formation. The bridge is formed by the erosion of the limestone rock by the rushing waters of the Kicking Horse River behind what was once a more standard waterfall. Over time, the constant flow of water over thousands of years wore away at the rock, creating a hole in the limestone behind the falls. As the hole grew larger, the river began to flow through it, creating the tunnel that we see today. The result is a beautiful and unique natural structure that is truly one of a kind, and is a must-see when visiting Yoho National Park.
Enjoy a scenic stop at Banff’s largest lake, surrounded by stunning mountain views and crystal-clear waters. Take in the panoramic scenery, capture beautiful photos, and learn about the lake’s fascinating history from your guide. Depending on the season and conditions, you may also have time for a short walk along the shoreline.
Enjoy a peaceful scenic stop with beautiful views of the turquoise-blue lake and surrounding Rocky Mountains. Take some time to relax, enjoy the scenery, and capture stunning photos of this picturesque Banff location.
Seasonal Access from June to October. Stop at this scenic viewpoint to see the historic Spiral Tunnels and learn how trains navigate through the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy sweeping mountain views and, with good timing, watch Canadian Pacific trains pass through the tunnels below.
Stop at this iconic viewpoint along the Bow Valley Parkway, known for its beautiful mountain scenery and the chance to spot Canadian Pacific trains winding through the valley. It’s a quick but memorable photo stop with spectacular Rocky Mountain views.
Enjoy a scenic drive along this beautiful mountain route, surrounded by forests, rugged peaks, and stunning valley views. Keep an eye out for local wildlife (not guaranteed), including elk, deer, and bears, while taking in the natural beauty of Banff National Park.

5Experience of a Lifetime
Coming from Oklahoma, I knew the Canadian Rockies would be beautiful, but GOODNESS, pictures don’t even begin to do them justice! And let me tell you, we absolutely hit the jackpot with Liam as our tour guide! Being a local, he knows these mountains like the back of his hand. He was incredibly knowledgeable, absolutely hilarious, and made the entire experience so much fun! He knew all the best photo spots, shared so much history, and made sure we had plenty of time to take it all in without ever feeling rushed. You can tell he genuinely loves where he lives, and getting to experience the Rockies through his eyes made an already incredible day that much more special. If you’re considering this tour, BOOK IT! And if you’re lucky enough to get Liam, you’re in for a treat! From two Oklahoma girls, thank you for an unforgettable day! ❤️🏔️
5Honeymoon Rainbows
Liam was energetic, fun, knowledgeable, accommodating & an overall great guide for this full day adventure. Despite rain most of the day, he made sure to get our group to some awesome spots, take all of our photos, help us in the rain, & give lots of great recs. Pickup and drop-off right from our hotel in Banff was an added plus. We would definitely recommend this tour, guide, & company to anyone. Thanks again!
5Beauty beyond words!
Outstanding tour and guide! Liam (guide) was enthusiastic and passionate about the incredible locations we visited. He shared detailed information about the locations and ensured that we had the photo opportunities that we wanted, often taking us to spots that were away from crowds of people. The amazing views from the top of the rock pile at Lake Moraine and the waterfalls at Johnston Canyon are beyond words!
5Awesome BANFFF!!
Liam was a fantastic tour guide! Just like Banff’s unpredictable weather—rain or shine—Liam made every moment so much fun. He’s personable, easygoing, and genuinely chill, exactly the kind of energy you want on vacation! He went above and beyond by taking our pictures, offering us water and umbrellas, and sharing not just the beauty of Banff but also a little glimpse into life there. His positive outlook on life and great sense of humor brought us so many laughs and made the experience even more memorable. Thank you so much, Liam, for such an amazing time and for sharing your good vibes with us! Please share your Instagram so we can follow along on your wild adventures! We’re rooting for you! Keep being you and spreading those positive vibes wherever life takes you! With love, The Bilellos, NYC

About Banff
Banff is a small mountain town inside Canada's first national park, set among the Rocky Mountain peaks of Alberta with hot springs, lakes and wildlife.
The town of Banff sits in the Bow Valley at about 1,400 metres, with Mount Rundle's sloping ridge rising over the main street and Cascade Mountain at the other end. It began as a railway town beside hot springs, and the Cave and Basin National Historic Site marks the discovery that led to Canada's first national park. A gondola climbs Sulphur Mountain for views, and the Bow Falls and a château-style hotel add to the river scenery.
Top-ranked sights in Banff: Moraine Lake, Bow Falls, Lake Louise.
